Easy Payment Terms

Cash, check, money order or credit cards are accepted.  We extend 30-day net credit to all schools and libraries.  Other orders should include payment with first order.

Over/Under for Custom Imprinting

Due to the custom imprinting process, we reserve the right to ship and bill up to 10% over or under the quantity ordered.  If you need exact quantities, a 5% surcharge will be added to your order. 

Shipping

Domestic shipping and handling prices are estimated on the order form, most ship UPS ground. International orders will be shipped best way unless otherwise specified and billed.

Art Specifications for Graphic Submissions

Your camera-ready artwork can be e-mailed to ksa@kread.com. We are Macintosh-based in the design department, but we can accept both PC and Macintosh platform files. Camera-ready artwork is any professionally prepared, black and white rendering of your logo, emblem, line art or copy. Reproductions such as photocopies, facsimile transmissions, or poorly scanned graphics are not acceptable. We want your products to look great. In order for this to happen, your artwork must be suitable. Remember, it cannot look better than the original, so if you see jagged lines or faded areas, this will become worse when reproduced.  Digital artwork is best saved as a .eps file (encapsulated postscript) Preferred programs are Adobe Illustrator (5.0-8.0) or Photoshop. Size must be at least 300 dpi at 100% size. If you scan the artwork for us, use 600 dpi at 200% size to ensure we have adequate resolution. All fonts and images must be outlined, converted to curves or saved as a vector image. If we spend more than 15 minutes on your digital file, we will add a graphic design fee of $35 hour to clean up or prepare files. If you have no idea what we are talking about, consider having K-READ set up your artwork. For any “type only” layout, there is no charge. If you want us to provide a graphic, our fee is $35 hour.
